Summery

A summary of the latter portion of my summer....

Phish concert. Thrifting an awesome pair of mens oxfords for $2. Weekly beach trips. Flying over Cape Cod in Uncle's plane. White wine in the city. Make-shift bedside table crafted out of coffee table books and old magazines. Paintings my mother did in her twenties. Heart break. Summer love. Saying goodbye, for now. Hiking with the pup. Reading 3 new novels. Looking at the bright side of things. Making a lamp. Hookah sessions on cool summer nights on the patio. Bone roads. Dealing with friendships and trust and bonds of a sort. Uncomfortable heels. Bare legs. Sick embossed leather bag. Vintage ashtrays and glass knick-knack holders that catch the light on my windowsill. 

Tan fades fast with the coming of the fall air at night.

I don't mind it.

This upcoming Sunday I'll be in the apartment for good. I am currently throwing all of my clothes for up until Thanksgiving into Garbage bags as they are much easier to pack than boxes and they are waterproof. Visiting my best friend at Central Connecticut State University tomorrow, and UConn on Saturday. Still havent worked out how I will be leaving my house by 9:30 Sunday morning when UConn is an hour and a half away and I need to make a stop at CCSU first... But frankly it's still summer and I am too carefree to worry about that minor scheduling problem right now.
