Start Again

My bed, covered in an excess of throw pillows and this beautiful vintage fabric I got from a friend's garage. My bedside table crafted out of  books and magazines. It's topped with a little sandstone tray that I throw my earrings and assorted hard candies into, and sits next to a beautiful wooden carving that I got at an art show in Florida. Bagbalm for chapped lips right on my headboard. Oh and my dream catcher... Had that since toddler years with little negative dreams.

Books, magazines, and incenses. The mirror I found in the art dept. of my school, the bicycle print was done by one of my mom's students when she was an art teacher. Framed is a birthday card I got from Mum. The colored vases i picked up from the dollar store, and the small glass dishes are from Goodwill. I really like how the light shines through all the glass come mid-day.

Across from my bed I hung wire to clip artwork and vintage pictures to. I like that I can alter what goes up there - it's sort of an ever-changing art installment. The dartboard I found in my garage and decided that it would become the perfect bulletin board. I spray painted the side table teal after finding it on the side of the road.

I am currently lying in my bed listening to a combo playlist on Pandora of Psychedelic/Garage and it is really quite good. I am finally settled into my apartment, I just need some more hangers because I packed two boxes of garments that should be hung up, but only brought about twenty hangers.

This post got messed up and deleted everything I wrote about my classes! I'll get to that later though, I have to go eat a cupcake from downstairs now...
