Buffalo Exchange

What up, kids?

I don't think I can stress enough how much I love Passover for canceling two of my classes today! Oh and for all you West Coast bloggers, it snowed in the city this morning. Perhaps because of how slowly I was moving this morning, originally upon looking out the window I assumed that it was just raining really slowly out. But alas, the floating droplets were actually flutters of snowflakes. ITS APRIL MOTHER NATURE, GET WITH IT! It is occurrences like this that make me question global warming.

In a desperate search for money, today I am gathering clothes to bring to Buffalo Exchange tomorrow. It is important to keep in mind the upcoming season when bringing clothes to sell. So, as desperate as I am to rid my closet of the winter clothes that I no longer wear, I am setting those pieces aside to bring in next fall. Also, these stores only take gently worn, quality pieces, so steer away from bringing ratty clothes that aren't intended to look ratty - save it for Goodwill. Personally, I am looking to sell those Abercrombie polos that I've had since twelve and wore once. These sorts of places are really into brand name garments, so if you have a piece that is on trend and in good condition but is a no-name label, here's a hint: cut out the tag. In doing so, the buyers will be forced to admire the garment, and there is a greater chance that they will take it off your hands.

Don't forget to bring your old accessories too! Buffalo Exchange and Beacon's Closet also take purses, belts, and hats that you no longer use. The more money you get, the better!

Right now Buffalo is working with The Humane Society to donate furs to Coats for Cubs. By bringing in your real furs now till the 22nd (Earth Day), your furs will provide bedding and comfort to orphaned and injured wildlife! This is a great cause, all real furs accepted!

I'll post again later, back to packing up clothes!
